St. Petersburg Train Stations

St. Petersburg is the most important transportation hub in Russia's North-West. There are six train stations in the city each serving a host of various destinations.

  Moscow Railway Station - Moskovsky Vokzal

Closest metro: Ploshad Vosstaniya
Offers train connection to Moscow, the Urals, Central and South Russia regions. Red Arrow and Nikolaevsky Express overnight trains to Moscow are popular among foreign visitors
     
     
  Finland Railway Station - Finlyandskiy Vokzal
Address: 6, Lenina Square. Tel: 1687687, 055
Closest metro: Ploshad Lenina
Trains to Vyborg, Karelia, Finland, and various North-West suburban destinations. Daily trains to Helsinki are Sibelius (departs at 4:35pm) and Repin (departs at 7:14am)
     
     
  Vitebsk Railway Station - Vitebsky Vokzal

The Vitebsk Railway is Russia's first railway station (it connected St. Petersburg to Tsarskoe Selo). Designed in Art Nuveau style, it offers connections to Belorussia, Ukraine and South-West Russia

Only suburban train connections are available. Most popular destinations include Strelna, Petrodvorets (Peterhof), Oranienbaum, and Gatchina
     
     
  Ladoga Railway Station - Ladozhsky Vokzal

Closest metro: Ladozhskaya. Web: www.ladozhsky.spb.ru

Offers train connection to Karelia, North Russia, Finland, and Far East. Helsinki-bound Sibelius, Repin and Leo Tolstoy (en route from Moscow) make a stop at this station
